Been making music since 1999 Katharina (violin) and Jochen (violoncello) in a variety of configurations, and for several years also as a duo (for two = TWO). Due to their many years of shared stage experience as soloists, chamber and orchestral musicians, the two musicians understand each other blindly. The performances of beatlestrings TWO are always characterized by a high level of professionalism as well as great musicality and passion.

 

Although the original literature for violin and cello offers an extensive repertoire, the two professional musicians spare no effort in arranging other suitable titles from classical to rock for their line-up. If necessary, also on request! beatlestrings TWO makes up for the smallest possible ensemble cast, among other things, through special playing techniques and achieves maximum sound with violin and cello alone.

 

On the occasion of a visit by the Prime Minister of Baden-Württemberg, Winfried Kretschmann, to Fohhn Audio AG in July 2020, beatlestrings TWO arranged the well-known aria “Voi che sapete” from The Wedding of Figaro due to his known preference for Mozart operas, which was met with great enthusiasm.
