Been kicking for several years Clara (Violoncello), Greta (Violoncello), Anna (Violin), Katharina (violin) and Jochen (violoncello) perform together in a variety of formations, and since 2018 regularly also as a quintet (five pieces = FIVE). The line-up of two violins and three cellos can be described as exceptional in every respect. Since the three daughters of the two professional musicians can already look back on many years of stage experience, the musical family impresses in their performances with a high artistic level, deeply felt musicality, thrilling joy of playing, unique performance and enormous stage presence. Beatlestrings FIVE impresses not least with a very special family sound from classical to pop.

 

Since there is no original literature for two violins and three cellos, the titles in question are arranged by Jochen especially for beatlestrings. There are therefore almost no limits to the repertoire. Triggered by the three daughters' long-held desire to finally make street music, numerous successful arrangements were created over several nights, so that within a short time beatlestrings already had an extensive and varied repertoire.

 

In the summer of 2020, after an intensive preparation phase of arranging and practicing, beatlestrings FIVE played on the street for the first time with great success. The enthusiasm of the audience and the response to the premiere was so great that, parallel to the constantly growing repertoire, the need to create our own homepage arose.

 

Since January 2021, beatlestrings FIVE has also started to become a sought-after ensemble beyond the street, achieving an orchestral effect despite the limitation to five string instruments. It is thanks to the extraordinary sovereignty of the five musicians that there are almost no limits to the implementation of classical literature. The young ensemble impresses above all with its musical maturity and stylish interpretation. various  musical eras.

 

The unique arrangements from classical to pop penned by Jochen form the foundation of the success of beatlestrings FIVE. Exuberant enthusiasm and fiery playing guarantee that the spark of enthusiasm spreads to the audience from the first note.
