Clara Sophia Kefer (cello)
born in 2010, received her first cello lessons at the age of three with Jochen Kefer. She expanded her musical horizons, among other things, by taking part in the master class for chamber music with Prof. Wolfgang Lehner.
Clara has already won numerous first prizes at Jugend Musiziert at regional, state and national levels, as well as at the Tonkunstler competition in the categories solo, duo cello & cello, as well as duo piano & Violoncello.
In addition, in 2020 she and her duo partner Valeria Wand (piano) won an excellent first prize and sponsorship prize at the 36th Karel Kunc Music Competition in Bad Dürkheim. Clara has been a scholarship holder of the Riebesam Foundation since January 2022.
In addition to beatlestrings, Clara plays in various chamber music and orchestral ensembles, including the Engelberg Cello and Chamber Orchestra and the German Cello Orchestra.
Clara is currently visiting
8th grade at the Eberhard-Ludwigs-Musikgymnasium
in Stuttgart.
...last but not least
In addition to her great passion for music, Clara loves all types of exercise in summer and winter, from skiing to stunt scooters, gymnastics and parkour. She enjoys dancing hip-hop and would like to become a cellist or actress when she grows up. Since she is the youngest in the family and has four musical role models, it is her eternal fate to always be able to imitate everything, but always be able to do it better. Her talent for intuitive imitation comes in handy in everything that has to do with movement and coordination: be it on the cello or in sports.
Clara not only feels comfortable on stage with the Beatlesstrings, she also shows perseverance, empathy, dedication, love and passion in everything else that inspires her. In terms of temperament, Clara is in no way inferior to her big sisters and role models and, like them, is bursting with concentrated energy.
